What is the Ultra Shine Bath finish?
Ultra Shine is the ultimate bathtub & tile refinishing product in the industry. It is a proven system used in thousands of homes and commercial applications for many years.
The Ultra Shine porcelain finish produces a tough thermal-bond that is extremely durable and hard, but at the same time very flexible around drains and caulk lines. Our quality finish is chemical resistant, non-porous and has the same warranty as new bathtub fixtures.

How long does it take to refinish a bathtub or wall tiles?
Typically four to five hours. All the work is done in the home with no harm to the surrounding areas and there is no mess to clean-up.
How long before the bathtub or wall tiles can be used after the restoration process?
Most bathtub fixtures can be used within 36 to 48 hours or if you prefer 12 to 24 hours with our fast cure system. For the best results..the manufacturer recommends letting the bath fixture dry at a normal 36 to 48 hour cure rate.
How long will the finish last?
With normal care, the Ultra Shine restoration system should give you many years of use. Many customers have told us their restored fixtures have lasted over 20 years. Why shouldn't I just buy a new bathtub or change my tiles?
The cost of refinishing is considerably less than the cost of replacement. Not only that, the added cost of replacing plumbing fixtures, wall tiles, wallboard, pipes, tile floors, sub-flooring; all of which will be damaged during the removal of your bathtub. With the Ultra Shine refinishing system you can reduce the cost of remodeling significantly!
Why shouldn't I consider plastic tub-liner systems over bathtub refinishing?
Most tub-liner systems fail because water gets under the drain and under the caulking. This causes water to get trapped between the old bathtub surface and the new plastic tub-liner system.
Within 6 to 12 months purchasers of plastic tub-liner systems will begin to notice two things. Smell emitting from the soiled water trapped under the liner and a squechy feeling under your feet each time you stand in the bathtub. This could be a dangerous mildew and mold producing problem. The cost to do a tub-liner and wall-liner system is also much higher than even a full bathtub and wall replacement...and far over the cost of refinishing the same items by many times. Sometimes as much as one-hundred percent.

Absolutely not! Our slip guard protection remains virtually invisible many years after it is applied!
Our beautiful, shiny and glossy finish is durable, strong and easy to care for. Just wipe clean with any mild liquid cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge.

Should I be concerned about the smell in the home while the technician is working?
Not at all! We keep the odor to an absolute minimum. Often by the time we leave your home the odor from the Ultra Shine finish has dissipated almost entirely. Many people stay right at home while the work is done and notice little or no smell. The curing process begins as soon as the product is applied and with our quick set system your fixture is well on it's way to being set before we leave.
Are there any hidden costs when the work is finished?
No, never! The quote we provide on the telephone or in person will be exactly what we charge. We will tell you up front what the job will cost and that is what you will pay, nothing more!
Are Ultra Shine products in compliance with VOC regulations?
VOC'S or volatile organic compounds are the solvents found in latex, oil, alkyd, and industrial coatings. Ultra Shine products are in full compliance with (OTC) Ozone Transport Commission regulations in the USA and on the leading edge of current regulations in Canada. Our products are safe to use and environmentally friendly!
